It has become mainstream for most internet marketers to use mini-sites. Some claim mini-sites are “trendy”, while others think they are here to stay.

As long as they are used wisely, mini-sites outperform every other type of website in internet history.

Here are 10 key reasons why we see them used everywhere we surf:

1) They are quick to create! As any marketer will tell you, time is of the utmost importance when it comes to selling anything. The faster you get your sales letter, order page, and product in front of buyers, the more profits you’ll earn.  

2) They can be generated easily!  Why spend precious time and effort struggling to create an informational site to sell a product? Think about it. You can get a mini-site up and running in a matter of hours. Wow, no frustration and no stress, just profits!  What a concept!

There is no question that Mini-sites are cost effective. Everyone wants to save a buck these days, especially since gas and oil prices are skyrocketing.

3) You can build your own free website instead of paying $300 + or a couple of thousand dollars to a webmaster or designer. 

It’s true! You can generate mini-sites using free software like Mozzila, for example. FYI, in most cases, you can generate a site and have it up and making profits, subscribers or driving traffic to one of your other sites, before a professional can place you on his or her schedule.

Visitors will be less confused if their focus is narrower. I know from experience and from hearing other marketers say that giving them one choice at a time is easier to keep their attention.

5) You can test headlines and sub-headers faster!  If the sites can be built more quickly and easily, shouldn’t they also be tested more quickly to discover what works and what doesn’t? It sounds like big money to me!

6) Mini-sites can be tested for search engine optimization quickly too!  The fewer pages you create, the more time you’ll save to write articles or create another site where you can sell products or link to.

If your sales letter has good content, Meta tags, descriptions, and keywords, your site can be optimized more efficiently.

7) Mini-sites are so easy and quick to create that you can make many and use them for different purposes. 

For instance, I may have two or three to gain subscribers to newsletters explaining how to use the products I sell, while I have five or six others to promote affiliate products. 

8) To make them more attractive to search engines, I interlink them with each other and with other high-traffic sites. 

9) Try spending a one-time fee on a good program that shows you step-by-step how to set up and use mini-sites if you’re tired of wasting time, energy, or money in your website. It’s the best investment you’ll ever make.  

10) Imagine that you are your own energized bunny where you can create and create and create some more to fulfill whatever purpose you have in mind without spending another dime on someone else’s work.
