“How long does it take to get your first sale as an affiliate?”
What a Great Question.
There are as many answers as there are people.
Ultimately, it comes down to you – your experience, your marketing skills, your work ethic, your ability to implement, etc.
The good news is that there are ways to quickly get your affiliate program up and running!
Therefore, I would like to share the 4 steps we teach our students to make their first commission within 60 days (even if they are beginners).
Step #1: Create Content Around ONE Target Audience
The most common mistake affiliates make is jumping from one audience to another (niche-hopping), or trying to speak to many people at once.
The problem is, if you talk to everyone, you don’t speak to anyone!
When it comes to social media, if you want people to notice you (and follow you)…
It’s imperative that you speak directly to their fears, dreams and desires. But you can’t do that unless you identify your target audience.
Step #2: Post Proven Content 3-5x Per Day
As an affiliate, if you want to get high-quality traffic and grow your audience…
It’s time to stop reinventing the wheel and start using proven content that has generated thousands, even millions, of views, likes, and comments!
You’ll get in front of your audience faster if you hack the algorithm…
Combined with a consistent posting strategy (3-5 times per day), you’ll be much more likely to succeed than posting random stuff.
Step #3: Stay Consistent With ONE Platform Only
The rules and algorithms of each social media are different…
Finding out which types of posts work (you know, those that get the most engagement & grow your following) can take some time.
This is why you should focus only on ONE platform, and experiment…
Because hopping from YouTube to Facebook to TikTok won’t get you any momentum.
Step #4: Pick ONE Proven Product To Promote
The majority of people will not buy what you are promoting on their first encounter with you.
To make a decision, they need at least 7-8 (or more) points of contact. You need to build trust and deal with objections with your content…
How can you do that if you’re always promoting different products?
In the end, your audience will become more and more confused… and they won’t know what you’re actually promoting.
Make sure you only use one product! Get Good at it. Then and only then you can move on to the next product to promote.
…alright, there you have it…
